Often times, companies or individuals will have bad search engine results that could hurt their sales. Companies will see their sales drop without knowing why. Next, individuals should also watch their online reputation. Individuals can be missing out on job and sales opportunities. Any type of opportunity that could beneficial to personal growth would be down the drain is potential employers witnessed a negative online reputation.
